There is no direct threat here. Only the quiet feeling that something isn’t right. The fear doesn’t strike — it builds slowly. It seeps in while you’re trying to understand what’s happening. Corridors shift when you’re not looking. Sounds appear where they shouldn’t be — far too close. A child’s cry echoes through the walls, as if it’s meant just for you. At times, it feels like someone is walking behind you. Too close. You turn around — and the footsteps are gone.
